Play-Cricket Scorer Pro Recreational Live Streaming and Video Highlights Plans Launched for 2022 Season

Play-Cricket Scorer Pro (PCS Pro) is a professional scoring platform provided at no cost to all teams in England and Wales by the ECB.  It is a dedicated ECB product delivered by NV Play, built on their global professional cricket platform and tightly integrated with Play-Cricket in order to serve the recreational game.

In 2020, after several years of investment & open development within the platform, NV Play launched an integrated Video Capture and Live Streaming offering built on top of the Professional Scoring engine that is at the heart of PCS Pro.  Whilst not forming part of ECB's PCS Pro product, Live Streaming was initially provided to the Counties to assist with their COVID response initiatives as a way to connect with their fans when they were not able to attend games in person. This engagement with the professional game was formalised in 2021.

In 2021 the Live Streaming and Video Capture features were also formally offered to recreational Clubs across England and Wales at no cost for the 2021 season, again to assist with rebuilding from the challenges of COVID.  A range of professional camera kit solutions were also launched in 2021.

We have received extremely positive feedback from many that took advantage of this introductory benefit, with a large number of clubs entering the world of Video and Live Streaming for the first time with great success.

Now, in time for the 2022 season, we are excited to formally launching two premium video offerings, available to all PCS Pro recreational users:

• NV Play Live Streaming for PCS Pro
• NV Play Video Highlights for PCS Pro

Licences for both packages are based on concurrent games, meaning that you can stream or capture one match at a time.  If you wish to capture or stream multiple matches at the same time, multiple licences will be required.  You can stream matches for multiple teams on a single licence, as long as they are played at different times e.g. 1st XI on Saturday followed by 2nd XI on Sunday.  Feel free to email enquiries@nvplay.com if you have any questions about how this works or may apply to the specific scenario at your Club.

Note that camera hardware is required to leverage these packages.  You can source your own cameras, or simply take advantage of NV Play’s range of curated camera kits.

Both of these new offerings will be available as part of PCS Pro 5.0 which is scheduled for release in late February or early March 2022.

To celebrate the official launch of NV Play Live Streaming, we have put together a range of special introductory offers for those Clubs wanting to double down on their early video success, or to embrace the world of professional Live Streaming within their clubs for the first time.

1. For those Clubs wishing to enter into a three year minimum commitment, NV Play are offering a 50% discount on Live Streaming in the 2022 season, with costs of £500 per season thereafter.
2. To further celebrate the official launch of NV Play Live Streaming, simply refer two Clubs who go on to purchase NV Play Live Streaming and we will reward you with an additional 50% discount on your next season’s Live Streaming licence fees.  You can use this discount against your current season’s fees due or bank it until next year, the choice is yours.  Just make sure you get your new Clubs to say you referred them!

   For Clubs with NV Play Camera Kit orders that were placed & paid for prior to 15th April 2021, we’re giving you a complimentary Live Streaming license for 2022.  From 2023, fees will be £500 per season or take advantage of the above three year commitment and receive 50% off your 2023 fees.  We’ll be in touch if you qualify for this deal.
